2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by STRATO AG, Pascalstraße 10, 10587 Berlin, Germany, under a data processing agreement. When you visit the site, technically necessary data is processed in server log files (IP address, date and time, requested page, amount of data, browser and operating system, referrer URL). This serves the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is not merged with other sources and is stored only as long as needed for this purpose.

3. No cookies, no advertising

We do not use cookies or advertising or marketing services on this website. The Roboto font is delivered from our own server; no connection to Google Fonts is made. No third-party maps or videos are embedded.

Audience measurement with Umami

To understand which pages are used, we use the analytics service Umami Cloud (Umami Software, Inc.) with data stored in the EU. Umami works without cookies and without cross-device tracking. It records the page visited, referrer URL, browser, operating system, device type, screen size and the country derived from the IP address. The IP address itself is not stored; visits are only counted via an anonymous hash that changes daily. We cannot identify you personally. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in designing the website according to demand (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement with Umami is in place. If your browser sends “Do Not Track”, no data is recorded.

4. Contact form, e-mail, phone and WhatsApp

If you contact us via the contact form, e-mail, phone or WhatsApp, we process your details (name, e-mail address, subject, message, possibly phone number) to handle your request, for example a reservation (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The data is deleted no later than six months after the request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply. To protect against spam we use invisible form fields (honeypot), a timing check and rate limiting; no external services are used. The WhatsApp link only opens WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Limited) after you click it; their privacy notices then apply.

5. External links

This website contains links to external sites (e.g. Google Maps or Apple Maps, WhatsApp). Clicking them establishes a connection to the respective provider; we have no influence on their data processing.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. the Saxon Data Protection and Transparency Commissioner, Devrientstraße 5, 01067 Dresden, Germany.
